March Newsletter

This month offers all kinds of weather leading to a bigger variety of wintertime activities - skating at local outdoor rinks, nature walks/snowshoeing, playgrounds/special locations, cook-outs and even library visits!
Weather was been pretty amazing in early February and we all wonder what March might bring! Often we get a lot of wind and this means choosing our play locations carefully. Sometimes we need a warm up space a little more often than usual.

What We’re Up To This Month
March can be a wetter, windier month so packing extra mitts and socks is really beneficial to your child.
We are going to have a Special Saturday Session* (see below) as well as some skating days for both Preschool and Adventure Thursdays. There is a possibility of a Xcountry ski day for Thursday's group (extra fee for rentals).
Did you know that Life Outside Gear Exchange is changing location? They are running a 70% off sale RIGHT NOW and still have children's skates on the shelf if you need some. Remember - all skate days require a helmet.
Additionally, I am attending an Early Learning Conference put on by the Metis Nation on March 6th and 7th. PPR will be closed on Friday March 6th.
TODDLER TUESDAYS

Our goal is to get some time outside no matter the weather because the two year olds sure love to play! We are hoping to get out around town a bit more this month.
Library locations, Gabriel Dumont and the Forestry Farm are a couple of fun ideas.
Got a fave spot to share? Do tell.
