Purely Play Outdoor Child Education
We support multi-aged learning, risky play opportunities that foster physical agility, skill and strength.
Child-led exploration gets those "whys?" answered and those imaginations pumping!
Social engagement supports friendship building as well as emotional literacy.

Play based activities occur with age appropriate supports and materials.
Listening and relaxation are important features in child-led learning and we make space for both.
We do our best to slow down, get a little bored and find out what interests us each day!
ABOUT
My name is Dianne and I have worked with children for over twenty years across BC, Alberta, and Saskatchewan, a lifelong passion that has brought me great joy.
I hold an Early Childhood Education certificate, a passion for all living things and a love for adventurous exploration of the outdoors. I discovered this natural path to learning in 1998 at the Calgary Zoo. There I learned about, created, and led educational programs and field trips for kids and adults alike with a group of wonderful volunteers.
Folks wonder how I have kept up my interest in this field for so long! My answer is by keeping it unique and varied. I've taken on different roles that have pushed me on my own journey.
I've been a recreation leader, preschool teacher, childcare provider, day home owner, yoga & mindfulness teacher for children, summer camp facilitator, and before/after school care facilitator, just to name a few.
Today, my passion is outdoor learning. I've drawn on my life experience, my Metis heritage, my childhood on the farm, a love for playing together in a multi-aged community, training in child development and my experience with children of all ages and needs to build a playful adventure program for your children.
In this photo, my daughter and I are snowshoeing around the certified organic family farm out in Foam Lake. Our family loves both winter and summer outdoor play. We are always up for a good story, a laugh and a cookout over an open fire.

OUTDOOR LEARNING!
We find ways to be out and about in various settings, including forest, beach, river/creekside and prairie. My programs include visits to farms, art galleries, museums, libraries, event centers, the forestry farm, parks, and more.
